How to Request Account Deletion
DAM Nutrition users can request deletion of their account and personal data at any time. You do not need to be logged in to view these instructions.
Option 1: Delete your account in the app
- Open the DAM app.
- Go to Profile & Settings.
- Open Account.
- Tap Delete Account.
- Confirm the deletion when prompted.
In-app deletion permanently deletes your DAM account and associated app data. This action cannot be undone.
Option 2: Email a deletion request
If you cannot access the app, email us at access@guidableai.com with the subject line Delete My DAM Account.
Please include the email address used for your DAM account so we can identify the correct account. We may ask for additional information to verify ownership before deleting the account.
What Data Is Deleted
When your DAM account is deleted, we delete or anonymize personal data associated with your account, including:
- Account information, including your DAM user record, email address, and name.
- Profile information used for nutrition calculations, such as birthday, biological sex, height, activity levels, goals, preferences, and settings.
- Nutrition and food logging data, including meals, food items, daily logs, weekly calorie budgets, macro totals, and AI meal logging inputs saved to your account.
- Weight logs, flex days, favorites, saved library items, and other app usage data tied to your account.
- Authentication records we control for your DAM account.
Data We May Retain
Some limited information may be retained when required or permitted by law, including:
- Records needed for legal, tax, accounting, fraud prevention, security, dispute resolution, or compliance purposes.
- Subscription and purchase records handled by Apple, RevenueCat, or other payment processors, which are subject to their own retention policies.
- Backup, log, analytics, or crash-reporting records that may persist for a limited period before routine deletion or anonymization.
Deleting your DAM account does not automatically cancel an active App Store subscription. To avoid future billing, manage or cancel your subscription through your Apple ID subscription settings.
Estimated Completion Timeframe
In-app account deletion begins immediately after you confirm the deletion request. Email requests are typically completed within 30 days after we verify the account owner.
Some retained records or backup copies may take longer to expire from third-party systems or routine backups, but they will not be used to provide the DAM service after your account is deleted.
